For Sale: 1964 Buick Riviera in Westport, Connecticut for sale in Westport, CT

1 of 25
Vehicle Description 1964 Buick Riviera Manufactured in Flint, MI, this car slowly migrated to CT.
The current owner has had her for roughly 10 years and has thoroughly enjoyed her, taking her to cruise nights, shows, etc and often taking home some sort of award.
Fairly well optioned for a 60's era cruiser, she comes equipped with the big 425 Nailhead (Wildcat 465) putting out around 350HP and 465 lb ft.
(It does not appear to be the original engine, the engine # and the VIN are about 13,000 numbers off, but it is presumed to be a 64 with the correct KW code.
) She also has AC (currently not working), Power steering, power brakes (finned drums all around), power windows, tilt wheel, bucket seats, 4 way power front driver bucket, wood trimmed dash/console, remote mirror, seat belts and door guard molding.
Originally arriving from MI in Teal Mist, it was repainted back in the 90's in white lacquer.
The lacquer is showing it's age in a couple of places (mostly small cracks here and there) but overall she still looks very nice.
.
good enough to pull trophies regularly.
The interior is in beautiful shape in the original black vinyl.
In back there is a fold up arm rest which gives the look of 4 bucket seats.
It's like sitting in a stylish modern home of the 60's with the aluminum, chrome and wood trim and black seats.
Currently, the signals and the heater fan are not working, the owner feels this is a ground wire issue.
Overall, the car starts up easily and runs very strong.
The 425 running its exhaust out through dual pipes from the manifolds all the way back.
The rear springs and shocks are relatively new (Bilstiens) and the front sway bar bushings are new poly.
The body is solid, no rot, the frame and suspension components are also in very good condition with only normal surface rust.
The passenger floor pan was replaced at some point as well.
The odometer shows 48700 miles.
We are not sure if that is correct or rolled over.
The general condition points to that possibly being correct.
This car is ready to jump in and enjoy, with a couple of minor needs.
The current owner is moving south and is trimming down his collection so he is selling this beauty on to a new home.
Asking price is $32,000 Any questions, for many more photos and video, to schedule a time to see her in person or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for the interest.
