Position Overview: This is part of our Early Talent Program


The Analyst, Tax - Transfer Pricing will support Terex work in the intercompany ("IC") and transfer pricing cycle of budget, forecast, transfer pricing adjustments, documentation, controversy, and support IC transaction pricing processes worldwide for tangible goods, services, royalties, and IC finance transactions.

This is a high-profile position that must work closely with senior finance and operations executives globally.¬  Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills are required to be effective.¬  Previous work experience in the area of transfer pricing in an accounting/boutique firm or within a multinational entity is preferred.¬  Exceptional work experience in a finance-related field will also be considered.¬

¬ Responsibilities:



  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation as required under the tax laws of the various jurisdictions in which Terex operates

  • Perform benchmarking for purposes of evaluating the arm's length nature of transfer prices for certain intercompany transactions

  • Review and document variances in reporting entity and product line financial statements

  • Calculate and recommend forecast and actual price adjustments, as needed

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relating to transfer pricing

  • Maintain Intranet website, content, and communications

  • Take all other reasonable actions to minimize the magnitude and frequency of post-invoice transfer pricing adjustments

  • In conjunction with the Manager of Transfer Pricing, develop and maintain intercompany pricing strategies to facilitate business decision support

Qualifications:

Required¬ Qualifications:



  • College graduation within the last 3 years

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, sciences education in business management, or other relevant field

  • 0-3 years of transfer pricing analysis or finance-related work in an accounting firm or multinational entity

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of major law challenges in the transfer pricing environment such as BEPS

  • Knowledge of transfer pricing laws in the U.S.¬  (Other major global economies such as Germany, UK, and China a plus)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access (functions include power pivot, vlookup, hlookup, etc.)

  • Prior experience developing financial or statistical models

  • Experience with one or more of the following applications: Microsoft SharePoint, BvD Transfer Pricing Catalyst, and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Transfer Pricing

  • Audit experience in the U.S. and/or abroad

  • A strong interest in technology and its use in financial analysis

  • A detail-oriented organizational approach that meets deadlines

  • The ability to work independently and to team successfully across functions and geographies

  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • General experience using common ERP and consolidation systems: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
