Bilingual (Spanish) Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Under the direction of an attorney, our paralegals are responsible for performing tasks, such as, but not limited to:
o Client Service: gather information from potential clients, meet and provide world-class service in response to a client's questions and concerns.
o Obtain all final reports, medical documentation, and other appropriate supporting
data to effectively complete a demand. Accurately confirm & document all monetary amounts.
o Communication: Timely communication with clients, providers, insurance carriers and attorneys regarding the status of cases.
o Office Administrative Duties: Data entry and correspondence. Answer and direct all incoming calls. Maintain and order all office supplies.
Qualifications:
o AS degree in Legal Studies, a Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
o Legal and/or insurance experience preferred
o Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
o Strong organization and time management
o Professional written & verbal communication skills.
o Detail oriented and Proactive
o Bilingual in Spanish
o Able to work independently and as part of a team
o Automation
Experience:
Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe. Case Management software experience a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
