Revenue Accountant



Responsibilities:
o Prepare and maintain working revenue budgets/forecasts in Excel
o Review contracts to ensure accounting system accurately reflects revenue
o Review and maintain revenue contract creation forms, amendments, contracts and related revenue support in on line system
o Set up and maintain new projects in the SAP system
o Prepare journal entries for revenue related items
o Submit contracts, completed contract creation forms, and other documentation in support of revenue to parent company
o Coordinate revenue-specific periodic system cleanup of project codes
o Provide support in the periodic monitoring and analysis of activity in the general ledger accounts, including preparation of monthly reconciliations for accrued revenue, deferred revenue and unbilled expenses.
o Review and confirm accurate and timely input of inter-company revenue transactions;
o Assist in preparation of revenue-specific instruction and guidance material
o Participate in revenue-specific audit
o Serve as secondary point contact on client credit and collection efforts with parent company
o Perform other reasonably related duties and/or special projects as directed by Finance management.

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
o CPA certification preferred
o 5
years of relevant experience preferred
o SAP experience preferred
o Proficient Microsoft Office skills required, including advanced Excel
o Extensive experience on accounting software systems required
o Must be extremely detail-oriented, thorough, and organized
o Strong verbal, written and organizational communication skills
o Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
o Displays potential for advancement

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
