It is the duty of the Branch Manager to administer the employment process in a branch location, including hiring, training and performance management of staff and authorization of personnel and salary actions. The ideal candidate will gather statistics and analyzes data regarding customer sales trends and patterns, and makes recommendations for maximizing effectiveness of service delivery channels. The person will work with business line management to analyze service and staffing levels and to identify repeat customer service. This individual will help in establishing performance standards and sales goals. She/he will guide employee development efforts, coaches, mentors and defines training needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
