The Property Accountant's focus is managing the financial reporting for a set of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards alongside the Group Controller.

Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year end closings, including supporting schedules, financial review, variance analysis and the prompt resolution of issuesPreparation of financial statements in accordance with the GAAP, Tax and Fair Value basis of accountingAssistance with reporting to management, investors and lendersWork closely with independent CPA Firm(s) for annual year-end auditsCash flow monitoring and managementPreparation of annual property and fund level budgetsReview and approval of certain property expenses such as real estate taxes, insurance and capital costsBilling and collection of the annual CAM/Tax reconciliationsOversight of the lease administration, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, to ensure compliance with the Company's policies and proceduresAd hoc reporting as neededWith solid performance, there is opportunity for more responsibility and advancement.
What we are looking for in a Property Accountant:
