Internship Overview:
Gorilla Commerce is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Intern to join our Product Management team for the summer of 2024.
The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities at once.
Organization, attention to detail, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enthusiasm about gaining insight into product management and ecommerce are pivotal qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
Summer Overview:
(Please note that the below timeline is subject to change.
)Weeks 1-2:
Work directly with a team of experienced Product Managers and assist with achieving shared objectives.
Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the ecommerce marketplace, understanding the dynamics and factors influencing best seller rankings.
Stay current and track industry trends and changes.
Weeks 2-4:
Align with cross-functional departments to understand specific metrics for upcoming projects and communicate the impact of newly developed tools.
Develop and implement a database to track the occurrences of best seller status for individual products over designated time intervals.
Weeks 4-6:
Create documentation outlining steps and procedures for setting up and maintaining tools such as the best seller dashboard.
Ensure instructions are clear for future reference.
Weeks 6-8:
Analyze successful products in the marketplace by looking at customer reviews, sales, and additional metrics to determine a reasoning for product success.
Bring suggestions forward by using specific data.
Weeks 8-10:
Present projects efficiently to Product Management and other cross-functional teams/leaders and gather constructive feedback on presentation skills and content.
Implement changes to enhance content.
In addition to the specified responsibilities, other diverse tasks may be assigned that contribute to the Product Management team's overall objectives.
Skills &
Qualifications:
Undergraduate graduating class of 2025 or 2026 majoring in business, marketing, or a closely related field.
Ability to multitask and shift priorities when needed.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and detail oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proactive learner with a drive to develop solutions.
Must be familiar with and be able to navigate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with PowerBI is a plus, but not required.
Other details:
This internship is based in Westport, CT.
You will be required to be in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and work from home on Thursday and Friday.
This is a 10-week, 40 hour per week paid internship.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
