The Role:
We are currently seeking an hourly associate to join our retail team at our Westport, CT flagship store.
This position will require 20-30 hours a week and will include weekend shifts.
The pay rate is $20 an hour.
This position is hourly and does not include benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Enthusiastically welcome customers and identify their needs.
Educate customers and pet parents on our products and offerings.
Restocking product.
Cashier and point of sale.
Store maintenance as needed.
Who you are:
Experience in animal nutrition, pet products and retail a plus.
Must be willing and able to work weekends and some holidays as needed.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
You enjoy striking up conversations and meeting new people.
You are a curious and quick learner who wants to understand all our pet products and offerings and translate that into sales.
You are flexible and reliable.
