Quick Apply Full-time Part-time 1 day ago Full Job Description We are looking for a Licensed X-Ray Technician to work a very busy urgent care located at:
1045 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06880.
Candidate must have the flexibility to work some weekends and evenings.
Our ideal candidate must be licensed and have a minimum of 2 years experience.
Candidate must have good computer knowledge, great organizational skills, have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
Develop and process radiological film.
Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by healthcare practitioner.
Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Must be willing to help assist at the front reception area when needed.
While we prefer someone with two years of experience, we are willing to train the right candidate with less experience as long as they are a licensed Radiology Technician in the respective state of employment.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
We are open 7 days a week.
Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
Must be a Licensed Radiology Technician in State of CT.
Must have BLS Certification.
